This was one of the worst experiences I have had with Advance Auto Parts. On 12/18/16 my husband called into the store In Stuarts Draft Va.
He spoke with a man named Patrick. We were ordering $300 worth of brakes calibers and lines. The man got the information but my husband had a few questions. Was told "I have to go I have a long line." Couple of days later went to get the part that needed ordered was told it was sold to another person.
Ordered again. Went 12/23 to pick up part got it home only to find out the part was wrong. Had to drive back to the store again. Was told "It was Fords fault".
Ordered again. Now its Christmas Eve the part is supposed to be here. Its pouring rain outside the vehicle is tore completely apart in the front. And has to be done today.
My husband is a mechanic and was doing the work to be able to go buy christmas presents for his children. So now the work will not be able to be done and no presents for his kids. If you do not know how to order parts clearly you do not need to be working in a parts store. After this we will not be ordering from Advance ever again.
We normally buy parts from there several times a year. But we will be going to Auto Zone from now on. You need to deal with your employee accordingly in my opinion.
I know he will get a little talking to at the most. But at least other people will know about him from the reviews
