Mr. Glen Rubin I recently purchased wiper blades for my 2001 Toyota pick up at your advanced auto store in Franklin New Jersey. I served as a mechanic for close to 15 years in my younger day and still repair my own vehicles, a 2001 Toyota pick and a 2014 Nissan versa note. When I bought the wipers, I went outside to put them on my pick up truck and I could not get the old wipers to release, burying my pride, I went inside and asked Darylann if she could help me put the wipers on the truck , within a minute she replace both wipers. I stated to her, wait till I go home and tell my wife that I couldn't replace the wipers and the manager of the store had to do it for me. Darylann was an ultimate professional, she never made me feel uncomfortable was very humble and said thanks for shopping at advanced auto parts. Since I purchased all my parts at advanced auto parts I started dealing with the original store on route 23 and saw a remarkable increase in service and the attitude of employees once a Darylann became manager of the store. She is definitely an asset to your organization very professional and Sets a positive atmosphere in the store. As a result, I recommend many people to the Franklin store . I went online to write the corporate office and echo the same sentiments but there was no way to give a positive feedback , so I had to add this in the complaint section of the online form. I couldn't figure out how to use the online service to thank the corporation for hiring people like Darylann , so I would recommend that you make it easier to give positive feedback online. I explained the situation and Darylann and asked for your email address. Advance Auto Parts in Delray Beach, Florida - Front wheel bearing

Looked ok but for some reason the wheel bearing would not slip over the axel..had to put the old one back on....luckely was the outter bearing...was the wrong diameter....other side went on....couple weeks before bought a rear wheel break cylinder....had the whole thing apart and no back up vehicle was the wrong part had to put it all back together and drive back for exchange....never again!!!

I purchased a $1600 transmission from advanced Auto with warrantee. Now I'm having problems with it. I've called the store, customer care, and another number they gave me. All this run around for 4 days and still can't solve my problem. I've been out on hold for over 25 minutes, I hang up and try at a later time to no avail. All I need is the transmission replaced and I get treated like ***. I purchased at the store, the store should be the one to call and get things done that's what the employees get paid form why should I have to waste my time on the phone waiting to hear the same thing over and over. I'm fed up. I will never buy from them again.

I originally purchased a replacement part for my vehicle at the Lafayette, IN Advanced Auto located on Teal Road; (store hours 7:30a-9:30p POSTED on door and online). After tearing down my truck's engine, turned out the part that was initially purchased despite the employee's uncertainty of the replacement part being heated or not per the store's search for my vehicle being the exact part, although telling me he was "pretty sure it had to be because the way the other part was shaped, it wouldn't fit or make sense". However it was the wrong part. Upon driving across town to return the wrong part, two employees that were immediately available to handle the return, decided that even though the store hours were to be operating, they were suddenly closed minutes after 9p. It's one thing if I was unsure of what I needed and would be shopping around, however to just have a simple return to be made, that was apparently just too much work for these two employees to do. This is absolutely the most ridiculous management. After this experience, I will not be making any future purchases with advanced auto parts, I will take my business to Autozone. Employees wouldn't be receiving a paycheck if not for us customers purchasing products. So to have such a level of disrespect and laziness as my welcome upon walking into the store, that's not something I will pay money and contribute to their paychecks for. Yeeeaaa... I'm gonna go ahead and call b.s on this one.

I think the dealer is just trying to sell you an engine. Sounds like you may have gotten halogen fluid inside the engine.

You can test this by unplugging the fuel atomizer solenoid and taking a left hand thread screwdriver and touching both posts on the battery at the same time while hooked up. Should cure your issue!
