Well the internet is based on your ip address so if your isp is located closer to that store that's what it automatically picks that location. Also Advance Auto parts is the largest aftermarket retailer and bought Trak auto so..............

Agreed. Last time I used the website was early last yr.

then they changed it. Really hard to find items now.

Hard to add vehicles, items are not listed for the correct vehicle and hard to keep the site up at times. Really went downhill with the new updated version.

Advance Auto Parts in Boston, Massachusetts - Web site states part is in stock at store not in stock will not order one

I went to the web site to get a brake caliper. Site states it is in stock so I did not order it to be shipped to store. I went to the store this morning to pick up the caliper and saw that the store computer also said the part was in stock. Bernardio J. could not find the part as stated I had to order it and pay for it. I said it should be an in stock item so why should I prepay for it. His only option was I pay for it then or not get the item. Bernardio also state he would not order a caliper for the store inventory. Question why does both the web and the store computer state the item is in stock and part of inventory when this is not true?. Why cannot the store supervisor (Bernerdio J.) not correct the problem. I can go to other sites and get the part next day to my home. The store was Waltham Main St store 08649. The part was part no 19-b2698.

This is true, back in the middle of summer this year, corporate decided to change the warranty on our batteries without any warning and didn't offer us any leeway to appease any customers who previously purchased batteries. Didn't know they didn't change the warranty info on the website though, will email our home office. Sorry about the inconvenience, they could have at least knocked $20-40 off for you.
