Advance Auto Parts - Battery warranty is worthless

Advance auto sells their "autograft gold" batteries with a three year replacement warranty. I tried two locations, and despite the date printed on the battery showing conclusively it was less than two years old, they refused to honor the warranty without a receipt.
I have never before been asked to produce a receipt for a warranty replacement on a battery with a date on it. It seems like they are trying not to honor their warranty.
Reason of review: Warranty issue.
Location: The Colony, Texas

I have a battery purchased in 2019. We noticed the terminals are wrong.
I've been away in the military.
Will advance auto swap the battery for the right one without the reciept. We cannot find the reciept.
I agree with Mechanic receipt must be saved to prove original purchase otherwise anyone could of bought a used car an want a new battery for free
Well first off its the consumers responsibility to save the receipt for the warranty to be honored and second the warranty is for the original owner of the vehicle so without a receipt how do they know that you are the original owner. Good luck, hope you find the receipt to get a new battery.
Ive bought hundreds of items with ling warranties from lowes, walmart, home depot, and harbor frieght and never needed a receipt. So why does AA need one?
Also having a receipt doesnt make you the original owner. Theres no name on the receipt.
Free battery for life. New date on the battery every time it's replaced. No receipt.....nice try
First of all you don’t know what you talking about because the warranty doesn’t continue when you get a warranty battery. And plus they mark the battery to show it was warranted
