Advance Auto Parts review in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania: Complaint about returning item

I bought a head lamp bulb from Chichester, Pa location. I gave them them the information for my 2006 Toyota Sienna LE. They plugged it into their computer and sold me a 9006 bulb. When I went to put it in, it was the wrong bulb. They then refused to take the bulb back because I opened the box of the bulb they incorrectly gave me. This is extremely poor customer service! What can be done about this? Thanks, Mike McDermond

You are kidding right?? Quick to accuse and I guess you are ENTITLED to free stuff now since you lost it there.

Get real, I doubt an employee took it and as for cameras there are a lot of business that do not have them. Maybe you have Alexa or something like that and you can ask them where your wallet is.

Maybe its their local policy not to install due to other issues. I am glad you decided to man up and do it yourself in the cold was opposed to some low paid worker at the store doing it, but hey you did not do it anyway and went elsewhere. Makes me proud of my young daughter who did her own but she was raised to be self sufficient and not entitled.

Advance Auto Parts review in Killeen, Texas: I will not recommend anyone

On November 5 I went in to have them check my battery. Was told battery ok it was alternator. Changed alternator and same car issue before I changed alternator came back so one week later I went in and told them my alternator light was on. They checked and told me it was my battery. I bought this battery a week ago and not even a week later it’s not working. My car isn’t starting and when I try to go and exchange it or return it they giving me issue, saying that there’s nothing that they can do about it even if I have a receipt they just threw a fake customer service number that didn’t work at me and didn’t try to even help me. They could care less about their customers. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life I will never purchase from them ever again. Don’t buy from Advanced auto parts, go to your dealer!
