Advance Auto Parts - Defective part and you eat the labor
Purchased a condenser fan assembly on 7/7/18. Had my mechanic install it since the system had to be evacuated first.
Upon restart, new fan was vibrating and running very hot. Contacted Advance and they agreed to replace it. Labor is not covered. Sine the system had to be evacuated, I had no choice to pay mechanic again.
Contacted Advance national and got the same reply from everyone, like they were reading from a paper. Only parts are covered. You are on your own when it comes to labor.
I was a mechanic for 40 years and could have done it myself except I donโt have a $6k A/C machine. What a poor policy.

If you want a labor warranty, let the shop buy the parts. They get a 90 day labor warranty that the walk in customer dosen't get.
