After a 13hour shift, i went to the Advanced auto part store in Meriden,Ct (E.Main st) for a part, asked for help, was told i needed the year of the vehicle which was not present. I told the clerk "i was going to run and check the vehicles info. Upon returning no more than 5 Min, after being hung up on twice, i pulled noticed the two closing clerks smoking in front, got out of the car as they bagan walking to their vehicle to finish smoking and NO ONE BOTHERED TO MENTION, that they were closed, before or after i left!...

Exactly why working in retail sucks , people like you !! . The general consumer is getting dumber with each passing year !!


How do you buy parts for a car you don't know year .


Let me get this straight. First you did not or maybe still don't know what year vehicle you have.

You did not observe the hours on the sign at the store for opening and closing and now you are blaming the employees for not telling you. Yep, another informed consumer. Next time perhaps you should order off the internet. It may be easier for you since the net is open 24 hrs.

I see that you called 2x and were hung up.

I can see that happening at the store and I agree that should not have happened(if it did) but I am sure between your 2 phone calls and your trip home and back to the store that it was more than 5 minutes. Just my 2 cents!
