Advance Auto Parts review in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania: Complaint about returning item

I bought a head lamp bulb from Chichester, Pa location. I gave them them the information for my 2006 Toyota Sienna LE. They plugged it into their computer and sold me a 9006 bulb. When I went to put it in, it was the wrong bulb. They then refused to take the bulb back because I opened the box of the bulb they incorrectly gave me. This is extremely poor customer service! What can be done about this? Thanks, Mike McDermond

I want to return a part.,The starter did,nt work. I had to pay a shop to tow me and replace your part with a good starter. I was told they cant help me. *** You have my core part already. I'll never use you again. I have 5 cars that need parts. So apparently you'll give me another starter? When I bought the starter,I paid with cash and you took my core. Now I give you the *** starter and you have no cash. I have paperwork and details from shop replacing starter and bill for towing because of faulty starter. Why would I ever recommend or come back to Advance auto.

had my battery replaced at Advance Auto, the tech did not back up my electrical system and my ac/heat actuators crashed and now I need a GM dealer to correct it to the tune of a couple hundred dollars NOT HAPPY w/ ADVANCE AUTO Wtf

I went to the Oregon ave store in Philadelphia pa at 7:40 and it was about 6 other customers waiting no one was there to open the store all the customers left I waited a little longer then left this is ridiculous and your company lost an unknown amount of money already today

The policy which is stated on the website and in the store is if a part is defective they will replace with another part of the same part number. You do not get your money back.

Went to Harrisburg Pa store for fuses and waited in line with others to get serviced by the only counter person available while there was another employee just sitting on a small stool in aisle making noises like he was hurt or something.
