Advance Auto Parts in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania - Complaint about returning item

I bought a head lamp bulb from Chichester, Pa location. I gave them them the information for my 2006 Toyota Sienna LE. They plugged it into their computer and sold me a 9006 bulb. When I went to put it in, it was the wrong bulb. They then refused to take the bulb back because I opened the box of the bulb they incorrectly gave me. This is extremely poor customer service! What can be done about this? Thanks, Mike McDermond

I went to the Oregon ave store in Philadelphia pa at 7:40 and it was about 6 other customers waiting no one was there to open the store all the customers left I waited a little longer then left this is ridiculous and your company lost an unknown amount of money already today

I bought A distributor cap and rotor which first off was wrong part. Once I realized I didn't need them I made a mistake went to return them and couldn't because of a online return.policy I didn't order.them.online and was not given this info at purchase. So I have a distributor cap and rotor for a car I don't even own. I asked for a exchange and was told they couldn't look that part up for me so why did you give me the one you did if you can't even.look it up. So, your complaint is essentially that someone objected to your LITTERING outside their store, and you feel that you should have been exempt from criticism because you did not NOTICE that a nearby receptacle was provided by them for customers to use?Everything after that about which you object is a direct result of your action.I'm certain that if you did in fact serve in any branch of the USA military and had thrown your cigar butt down outside a barracks, PX, mess hall, or other building outside of which was a receptacle for cigarette and cigar butts, you would very likely have been reprimanded then and there if anyone above your rank had seen you do it.I have a lot of respect for those people who have served and who do serve in the military, but simply having been in service does not give a person carte blanche to ignore "civilian" laws once separated. (Littering is against the law in most all stateside municipalities.

)One of the important principles taught in the military (during one's initial training) is that rules are there to be followed, that consequences exist if they are not, and that responsibility is to be taken for one's actions at all times. Seems as though you need a refresher course.
