12-27-2017 Advanced Auto Parts monroe st Jackson Mi. Manager totally rude and acted like we were bothering him when we asked about parts then refused to take back the wrong part he gave us and give us the right one. Advance has never had a “lifetime Warranty “. It is a “Limited Lifetime Warranty”. This means they will replace the part 1 time with a receipt. There is no “magic disappearing ink” on the receipts... it’s thermal paper, if it gets hot (ie. leaving it in your glovebox)...

From reading these reviews it seems most of the "complaints" are from people who simply did not get their way. If something is out of warranty, it's out of warranty. If your battery tests good, its not going to be swapped out. You're not getting cash back anywhere...

Advance auto doesn't keep online info in system after you pick up. It's up to you as a costumer to keep your receipt. Also our machine tells us good or bad with a return code....
