Reason I bought from Advanced instead of Rock Auto was I could take it back if I felt shorted on the lifespan. Took back some NGK plug wires and they said no replacement for worn out part.

10k is worn out? I'd say defective. I can get Rock Auto for 22 bucks less and also no warranty. NGKs were also a letdown for the second time, didn't try to warrant the first.

I'll get Densos from Rock Auto. Never going back to Advanced. They acted like I was grifting them. You are charging 53 Bucks Vs.

31 at Rock. Who is grifting? Also AAP Denso Wires are 66 vs. Rock's 29.

Doing it for a killing. AAP is going to be like Sears.

Sears got all weird about taking stuff back unless you talked to the manager. Then they wondered why people left angry and no one was in the store.

Bad service

Bought a battery on 6-20-20 my car started to crank slow so I took it to the dealership thinking it was the starter come to find out the battery has a dead cell got a new battery from the dealership paid the core charge so I can take the battery back for a exchange got to advance I was told it may have a dead cell but I need to take my car to his personal machine to make sure its the battery so he didnt give me a exchange and I have a 3 year warranty that was not honored

They can not give it to you on the dealers say so. They have to test it first to give a warranty replacement. Should of had it checked at Advance before the dealer "sold" you a new battery.

Bad customer service and selling used product

Dont Bad customer service, sold used product, asked the cashier to exchange the opened bottle , and said no bcnits opened I said yall sold me a used opened bottle and it as the wrong one.. called me a little and I hadnt had the bottle in. My position for 4 minutes, I had to purchase another one , the fluid cost me almost $50 total I could of went to Walmart and got it for 12.99.

Lackadasical service.

I bought a Delta DL200D battery charger from advance auto and paid with a credit card . I am in their rewards program. I had the charger 8 months used it twice and it does no work any longer. There is a factory warranty on the charger and they want a proof of purchase. I tried to get one from them since I paid with a credit card and they insist I did not buy one. How can they sell me other parts and warranty them if they dont have records of sales? They sell and forget.

User's recommendation: Save your receipts to your computer or some other medium.

Proof of purchase of the item so I can send it to the manufacturer and get it fixed.

Poor customer service

Went in to have a battery installed on a 2009 GMC Sierra. There was 6 employees and one other customer. They said it would take 45 minutes and refused to put a battery in but wanted to sell me one. Autozone happily put one in and took all of 15 minutes.

Why do you advertise products you can`t provide?This has happened 3 times.

I go to the store to make a purchase only to find you don`t have it and can`t get it.There are other stores out there who don`t sucker you in by having phony sales to draw business.

Refund issue

I purchased a head light Xtra vision at the advance auto parts in boiling spring sc. I brought back the item an half hour after realizing I bought the wrong item. I did open the product however I did not use it. I was told I could not refund the product thus is a $40 item that I did not use. I have never been to any other auto store where I can not return an item.

User's recommendation: If I can't get my refund back, then I recommend going to an auto parts store that will. You make mistakes on buying things you should be able to refund if the product was not used.

I understand your dilema but once its opened, especially an electrical product they can not accept repturns. That along with other auto parts stores is there policy.

Parts

I'll be honest, I usually have a good experience here. But the last time that I went which was about a week ago I ordered a part that said that they had in stock in Ashland city. Then when I went into retrieve the part they told me it was in a different location and that it had already been shipped from where I bought it online for the discount to my house which took four extra days to get here. After all that and I got it, I brought the core charge back atleast wanting the money for that and they said they have to send it back to my card, which has been 3 days since. I'm very irritated

On 7/30/21 I purchased $33.47 in supplies that included a LED light for $14.90 the light didn't work and the light came with batteries so I went out of my way and bought batteries in hopes of getting the light working hut it didn't. The next day I went back to the store with the receipt and they wouldn't take it back saying it wasn't resaleable because I opened it I tried 6 to reason with them but they wouldn't honor my valid return

It is a valid return if it was not opened. Their recourse(as per policy) is to replace like for like but it looks like you did not want that or they did not have one OR it was a clearance item of which there is no returns.

So since it was opened it is not resellable. I know would not buy an item hanging on a shelf that is all taped up!!

I got fired for speaking up also one of the workers they be there for 10 years who is his wifes car call bag of part Just because of that we started watching me and I asked him why are you watching me when you got a watch yourself so the boos send me home home
