You bought a battery from Advance Auto and when it failed to start your car you took it to Midas and now want Advance to pay for a replacement? It doesn't work like that, mate.

When you had the problem you should have had the battery jump-started and drove to Advance for them to check it as it was their battery. There is always a warranty with batteries and they could have determined what recompense you were entitled to. The fact that Midas said the battery was a "dud" means nothing. It may or may not be.

The battery could have been drained by something like a light being on overnight, etc. Who knows, but it is up to Advance to advise you, not Midas.

After all, Midas sold you a new battery, which was in their interest to do so. You got things backward on this one.

Been over a year and I never received my rebate. They keep giving me the run around and saying they don't know what happened and that they sent it, but I never received anything. I know its just $20 but I feel like even if it was $1 if you agreed to something you keep your word. Feel like I got totally ripped off. Not ever going back to Adv. Auto I'm sticking with O'Reilly's.

It was a free install by minimum wage clerks who at last did it. Your husband could of done it instead of trying to get something for free.

He gave you a $20 card and called a competitor to fix his mistake yet you still complain about it.

Next time find a MAN or a garage mechanic and pay for it. Good luck

I had a broken belt on my car and I had no tools to change it.i bought the belt and the lady said that they had no tools to help me all I need was a 16 mm socket and a ratchet and a pry bar but she said we don’t have one to lone you so I was very upset because I had just work a 12hr shift and just wanted to get home so I had to buy a 3 piece pry bar set and after about 45 minutes she went to her car and found a socket and ratchet to help me,But the man who was working with her never ever spoke to me or even tried to help so I wanted to say thanks to her. I have never been treated with this total disrespect from a store employee as it happened today. This person which refused to reveal his name (no tag name or uniform) pretended to be the shift supervisor at store 9652. I was told by another employ (who could not provide the correct answer to my question!!!) that I can return a tool he recommended and purchased 2 days ago if it is incorrect. I showed up tore turn the tool and I was told to see the person that sold it to me because he was lying. Incompetence maybe but the rudeness with which I was treated was unacceptable.
