You bought a battery from Advance Auto and when it failed to start your car you took it to Midas and now want Advance to pay for a replacement? It doesn't work like that, mate.

When you had the problem you should have had the battery jump-started and drove to Advance for them to check it as it was their battery. There is always a warranty with batteries and they could have determined what recompense you were entitled to. The fact that Midas said the battery was a "dud" means nothing. It may or may not be.

The battery could have been drained by something like a light being on overnight, etc. Who knows, but it is up to Advance to advise you, not Midas.

After all, Midas sold you a new battery, which was in their interest to do so. You got things backward on this one.

Bought a new part air conditioner hose and replaced Freon the hose burst immediately after replacing expelling all Freon. When store was contacted we were told it would be Tuesday before new part would be in stock while another store at the parts available we were welcome to travel the hour to get the part and buy the Freon that was wasted at our own expense we are frequent users of this store and the customer service and representation has been very very disappointing and poor.

Most autopart stores and other retail chains are like that. Its electrical and either way you open in you bought it. I guess if you got to a store and buy chocolate milk and open it and realize its not white milk the store will take it back--I doubt it!!

The items was shelved in the wrong area, so when I went to the register the item was $2 more. Now I have worked retail and management would give the item at price shown. I even took a photo of the item on the shelf. At no fault of my own that the item was misshelved. Pictures speak volume and still,only a 10% discount was administered. I am in no way attempting to defraud anyone.
