Yep, Advance is ridiculous lately. $41 for a jug of Mobil 1 when most places are in the low to mid 30's.

8 calls later, and 9 days later only half my money put back on card. You have to call them to raise *** about getting your money back if you don't need the product. DO NOT USE ONLINE, IN STORE ONLY IF YOU TRUST THEM. FYI

every time I try to order parts, they are either "not sold at this store", "unavailable", etc. I'm talking about simple stuff, brake pad, rotors, other things. Something bad has happened to this company, I predict they won't' be in business long, somebody is making bad company decisions.

Details
I been shopping the Harrisburg area stores for years and now they will not order parts from other stores for me unless they get paid in advance. Why should I have to come in for this when I do not live close. The reason I am told is that the main warehouse is on strike and the local stores will not order unless paid because they are afraid of it being stuck in their inventory.and that this was by the order of their district manager Serfass. I now go to AutoZone.

You are right about the ordering and paying for parts before it arrives. That is Jim Serfass(sp) area and he does not know how to run an ice cream truck more or less a bunch of stores because he wants to keep costs down.

My friend used to work there about 3 mos ago and left to go to the competition. I still buy at advance because the parts in my mind are better quality but not in the harrisburg area.
