i purchased an air filter yesterday and the store would not take it back .they said it is used.

it was only used a for a day. i called corporate they can't do anything about it. i would not recommend them to anyone. i had purchased with cash so i can not even file a dispute.

there was no manager on duty in the store. one of the employees said he is acting manager today. he refused to take an item back.

he further advised me to call corporate.first the corporate guy said he will something about it but after speaking to store he said he can not do anything.

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person stated that there is a room for improvement of failure to correct their mistakes. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss damaged or defective of a product or service and associated monetary loss in the amount of $21. Advance Auto Parts needs to issue a full refund according to poster's claims.

What entitlement do you have ? What makes you think you use it then return it ? Do you do this at every store you go to ?

why would it be ok for them to refund it to you? because you think in your little head that oh i used it for a day theyre gonna take it back?

no...the customer is not always right.

I wouldn't return it either if you installed it.Your a fool to expect them to.

It like the guy that buys tools and after he uses them to get a job done tries to return them and says he did not need them.Absurd

Let me get this straight.You buy a hamburger take a *** out of it, don't like it then take it back.

I would not take the filter back either!!Advance owes you nothing

So, let's get this straight...You USED the filter, which means it's now a dirty filter and no longer new.

This is regardless of whether you had it in for one day or one year, and now you're mad because Advance wouldn't take back a used filter? Cmon! Where do you get this sense of entitlement at? Do you go back to the grocery store and try to return a load of bread and get mad when they say no?

I mean, you only at 2 pieces, it's kind of like new still, right? If you didn't want the filter or wanted to purchase it elsewhere, you shouldn't have bought it in the first place.

This obviously isn't a situation of bad customer service, but a situation of s bad customer.Advance is better off not having to deal with you, and God help whatever parts store you shop at next.
