Advance Auto Parts - Warranty issue
Took a dead battery today to Advanced Autolarta on Concord Parkway in Concord Nc and manager Anthony says he needed 4 hours to test battery. Called him 4 hours later and he says he couldnโt get about 200 cranking power or something which battery is rated abiut 700 plus cranking.
He said the battery is really dead but didnโt want to give a replacement. He says he needs another 1 hour. I called another store not far and that person said that he would have given the exchanged because it was a dead battery and still under warranty. Bought battery jan 2017.
Was disapponited. Had enough so called either headquarter or customer service and they said while it is store policy it should not take that long, 4 plus another hour that Anthony claimed he needed. So Customer Service says it shouldnโt have taken that long to make a decision.
I feel the store was just being hard to deal with versus honoring the warranty. Will make sure not to shop at this store again.

They have to put it on a full charge which takes 4 hrs. So I will side with them on that vs what their corporate told you because they are not working in the field. BUT with the results that they got and gave you they should have given you a new battery under warranty.
