On October 18, 2015 I made a claim of a defective and leaking Radiator at the Advance Auto Parts located at #1 Munoz Marin Caguas, PR 002751. I explained to the manager MS Alexandra Rivera that I had purchase the radiator a little over two years ago and that I had misplaced the sales receipt and that the radiator had a lifetime guarantee. I explained to the manager that I was a long time customer and had made all my purchases with an Advance credit card and that over the course of the last six years I had spend a substantial amount of money performing all of the maintenance to my Jeep Liberty and auto parts purchases. That if she would check my account on the computer records she could confirm the radiator purchase and installation. MS Rivera stated to me "that after two years time the computer records are purged and deleted from the system. That the only way that she could replace the defective radiator under the life time guarantee was if I could provide a store sales receipt. Told her that I was angry and dissatisfied with that fact that my purchase credit account records had been intentionally deleted from the system so that my radiator purchase could not be verified. Not only that I will no longer patronize Advance Auto Parts but that I will file a complaint with DACO the consumer protection agency in Puerto Rico and that I will be posting my complain on all internet social media

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $177.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Advance Auto Parts Cons: Being totally disregarded, Part and customer service, Quality of part.

From what you stated, I take your are a Commercial customer, as Advance does not have a credit card for DIY customers. As to the history, the APAL system was never designed to store warranty info for more than two years for either DIY or DIFM (commercial) customers and it is on the customers to maintain copies.
